The Saint‑Bonnet‑de‑Mure (69) site specializes in the manufacturing of special fuses, semiconductor protection fuses, and fusegear. It also hosts the European distribution platform from which Mersen products are shipped across Europe and worldwide.
Role & Responsibilities
Production support
- Take ownership of the machine fleet to identify improvement opportunities and provide technical support
- Provide technical assistance to operational teams
- Lead improvement projects
- Integrate new products into production lines
- Carry out or manage machine retrofit projects
- Supervise external contractors
- Provide technical support to other group sites
Integration of new equipment
- Provide technical input during the drafting of specifications for future equipment
- Participate in qualification and commissioning of new equipment/lines
Documentation
- Update automation standards
- Write instruction manuals and procedures
Industrial IT
- Act as the link between IT and operations
- Understand database structures and network architecture
Profile
- Minimum Level 6 education
- Proficiency in programming languages and digital development tools
- Ability to read, interpret, and produce electrical diagrams and functional schematics
- Configuration and diagnostics of mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Technical English
- 8–10 years of experience in an industrial environment or project management
- Hands‑on mindset, strong communication skills
- Organizational skills and ability to manage cross‑functional projects
