**About the job
**

You will be part of the European Field Application Engineering team with the key responsibility to ensure that European customers receive timely the technical support they may require.

In the context of very dynamic trends for electrification in all sectors, and especially in Automotive, you will ensure that LEM sensors are designed into our customer’s systems in the most optimized way.

Key responsibilities

• Provide the technical support with focus to our European OEMs for DC & AC charging and Charge Point Operators but also to customer in further industrial application segments
• Understand, develop, and promote appropriate solutions and product concepts matching with customers needs
• Take into account (new) technical demands of customers and provide the response within expected lead-time
• Identify (new) product requirements from customers
• Feedback to R&D and Marketing on technical trends and future market requirements
• Participate in launching and follow-up the development of new projects as well as project adaptations
• Organize and animate technical trainings for Sales, other departments and sales partners
• Contribute to the technical knowledge capitalization through databases, application notes, technical papers, webinars, Tech-days etc.
• Act as daily interface with regional Sales Managers, Product Managers and Business Leaders to increase satisfaction level of customers

Professional background

• Electrical or Electronic Engineering degree
• Sound experience in power electronics and DC application, preferably solid experience in the domain of DC & AC Charging and Energy Meeting
• Experience with respective norms and certification in the Charging domain as well as with documentation requirements of customers in the industrial & automotive segment
• Experience to promote and design sensors and semiconductors in the high-power environment
• Fluent in English as well as French or German. Further major European languages as e.g. Spanish are a plus.
• A market-driven approach with the ability to determine technical priorities and tailor products towards customers specification (AC / DC Charging)
• 5+ years practical experience.
